Any one before Larry cant be in the same league as bigger more modern guys as good as someone like Ali was he couldnt deal someone like Lennox Lewis, who just has too many attributes on him, sure Ali could take his power for a while, but he couldnt deal with his power, range, skill, speed size strength etc etc etc all together.

So sure he can beat a very powerful guy like foreman or a very skilled guy and so on but the bigger modern guys just have too many of these "attributes" in one human, even Ali I believe could not compete. Although admittedly he is a freak and I could be wrong but you get the point the further back it goes the more doubt there is over whether they could compete with the very elite* in the modern era.

So who is the best EVA?

ESPN's overhyping of Fury beating a no hoper has made some fans lose their minds lol The big oaf Fury would give some problems to ATGs because of his size and awkwardness, but he does not even deserve to be mentioned alongside ATGs.

He fast like Larry and Ali, has head movement as good as Ali at least, has reach and height on all of them, has endurance has the long range advantage against tall guys that are used to having the range advantage see the wlad fight to see if that matters it does alot, he has a chin like Ali's, hes awkward, fast, good head movement, good footwork all this at 6.9 260lbs!

I dont think your words are the truth but rather a typical gut reaction to a modern guy being compared to fighters you and others are nostalgic about, same thing happened with Roy Jones Jr clearly one of the the best guy p4p of all time possibly number 1, but it takes people a long time to let a modern fighter be compared well with the historic fighters. You are talking with emotions not logic I believe.

Vitali isn't in the same league as those men.

He quit against Chris Byrd. Real champions don't quit.

His best fight was getting his face destroyed by an old Lennox Lewis.

Lewis lost to two guys 6”2.
Holmes lost twice to a 6”2 light heavyweight.
Fury has been dropped by a 6”3 Cruiserweight.

And apparently a 6”3 lighting fast and supremely skilled Ali “couldn’t deal” with these guys.

For me its between Lennox Lewis and Tyson Fury I didnt realize how light and small Larry Holmes was. Bowe is also in the discussion but foolishly blew his chance in his era vs Lewis, and wasnt motivated enough consistently, but none the less he still demonstrated his ability vs like opponents and we all know how good he is/can be

                6 ft 5 in (196 cm)
                Reach 81 in (206 cm)
Weight 235-245 (huge variation but this is his peak)

Everyone knows how good he was when motivated and how incredible he was in terms of boxing "assets "

Im not over hyping the importance of size weight reach etc because there are many other more important assets I just wanted to show it as food for thought

Fury is not even close to being in that conversation yet.

I think prime Vitali would beat any HW all time H2H barring cuts and/or injury.

Make no mistake, Fury would not have out pointed a 39 y/o Vitali like he did Wladimir.
