Lets do it. I think Usyk vs Parker is a great fight for Usyk. Parker isn't beating Usyk.

I think its very likely Parker already reached his high water mark in the game & idk that he's progressed much over the last few years. He's one of these guys who gots skills, but seems to have lil passion or ability to know where they are at in a fight which to me are guys who are capable of reaching high levels, but never excel at the top.

Thats imo why so few crazy talented Cuban fighters never reach the tip top. They can box their asses off & I'm a huge fan of Cuban boxers, but they don't seem to know how to nick a round vs tip top guys like a cat like Floyd is an expert at & guys like Canelo, Oscar & SRL were/are great at accessing & is an underrated talent in boxing I feel like.

This fight is rumored for late September or October. It’ll be the tail end option for Canelo Sept. buyers

Parker is a top ten heavy that in itself is a solid fight for Usyk to demonstrate he’s capable at 200lb+.

I had high hopes for Parker but ultimately he is exceptionally lazy and flat footed, with expectations high I guess that’s why I now hold him in low esteem due to his performance against Whyte being nothing short of abject.

It really goes to show how shallow the division is when Parker is considered a top 7 heavy.

That all said I don’t feel a Parker fight is any step higher than the Gassiev and Briedis wins which really mean a lot more in the grand scheme of things, if Gassiev couldn’t budge Usyk I don’t see Parker having any more joy.

As for Fury - he said Cunningham was too fast and slick for him. He would be giving away his greatest strengths(speed and movement) to Uysk. It would be like when Haye fought Bellew
Usyk has fought plenty of big guys at Amateur including Fa & Joyce in the WSB, beating both. He should settle in at around 220lbs and be fine at the weight.

Fury is much improved since fighting Cunningham, I’d fancy him to be able to keep Usyk at a distance and get a boring decision - it’s not a fight I ever see happening though.

Parker v Usyk would be a great fight, though have a feeling it's a fight planned a little down the line for both fighters. Parker needs a win or two first and there's no chance Hearn would have signed him to sacrifice him to Usyk right away... he'd want Parker to get some momentum first; maybe a Chisora fight?

I agree on one thing - Fury would never take that fight. He wouldn't even take the Whyte fight after he said he would. Fury has sparred with Whyte...

Well let's see about Uysk. He seems a ballsy guy so I can't see him dodging fights. My worry for him would be the big guys with iron chins walking through his punches to land their own. And like you say reach is a big deal too.

Parker should get some wins. He is still young. He doesn't need an Usyk whooping right now
