Isn't the answer right in the question? The new beats the old sooner or later.

Or in a more abstract way with something like this the old transforms itself into the new since one of the benefits of being old is you are wiser & better bankrolled usually so you can merely hijack whats working better now & drop your old tactics that aren't as effective as they used to be. So that could go down but that wouldn't be old media winning so much as old media turning itself into newer media. But new wins either way.

New media will eventually win because that is the direction we are going. IMO the best thing is to have the digital apps with the ability to watch a fight on a per fight basis for those that don't want to purchase a subscription.

Good post...I would pay $5-10 bucks per fight to watch a lot of fights...would ideally like if that was the future model...$5 for Sulecki-Andrade...$10 for Wilder-Ortiz...etc

New Media is All Digital! Everything is Audio/Video as well as strong Social Media Presence! Old Media/Traditional Media are the guys who are still writing articles (which nobody even reads anymore). They don't break the news in boxing like they use to.

Now it is Mike Coppinger, Lance Pugmire, Michael Benson guys like that who are breaking all the boxing news on Twitter FIRST! You also have a lot of guys on youtube who are doing a great job just talking boxing and reporting the news without any BIAS or AGENDA to push on you

Some of the Old Media guys are reluctantly adjusting to the New Media Wave, great to see guys like Kevin Iole on youtube as well as Teddy Atlas

Doug Fischer is the pimp of all pimps tho. He has been calling fights for Ring, Main Editor, of course affiliated with DAZN.

He is Old Media and New Media with the best seats in the house for the action. He has one of the coolest jobs in the business considering he’s old school and started from the bottom with Max Boxing.

Fischer is both Old and New. The Don Of Dons
