I am impressed by the buzz it is bringing, whether it is people from the UFC stating 'That it is too much, and brutal'. I think the UFC/MMA seemed to pride themselves on being apparently more of a brutal sport than boxing. 'Yes this organisation is just starting off, but it seems good for now'

I don't think that's ever really been an argument. More that MMA fighters aren't limited in how they can fight i.e being able to use kicks and elbows etc.

Modern MMA seems to have sold itself as actually being safer than boxing as in bringing up that there have not technically been any in ring/cage deaths in MMA unlike boxing.
