Andrew Cancio - "I’m 100 percent committed to boxing, it’s just that I don’t get to stay at home and rest all day. I have kids, and I haven’t made the big money. I haven’t made s--- in boxing, to tell you the truth. In the 13 years I’ve been a pro, I had a $50,000 payday with JoJo Diaz; I had a $75,000 payday with Machado the last time, and this one is $125,000. The rest of them were all $8,000 a fight, like that."

But how about the acosta-soto fight!? FOTY candidate for sure, but a horrible stoppage, especially since Acosta shoulda been up on the cards, would love to see a rematch.
That fight and the Cobb fight were GREAT, n I'm extremely satisfied with both DAZN cards yesterday.

      Peace, n god bless.
Yeah man I meant to ask what you thought of that stoppage. It did have that Meldrick Taylor feeling to it.

So what about this weekend ? Commey, Andrade, and Charlo ? Or do you think Beltran has a good shot ? He's 38 though, and I think Commey is hungry. IDK. Beltran is tough. Could take it to decision. Hmmm.

I'm going with comment, Andrade, Parker, n Charlo.

Did you see the rigandeux-ceza fight? Another horrible stoppage, great fight though.

I'm looking forward to seeing Joseph Parker this weekend, I thought he edged out dillian Whyte in what was a terrific fight. That win over Andy Ruiz looks a lot better now, will be interesting to see what improvements he makes.

Aw man forgot, I do want to follow the Parker fight. I'll get highlights. The fight with Dillian was a great one. I'm good with Whyte getting the nod, but I could see if you wanted to give it to Parker, in the 12th rnd. Funny, now Parker-Ruiz II is a borderline HUGE fight to be made. A month ago, it's on the undercard. Erickson Lubin (WBC JrMW Eliminator) I forgot is on the Charlo card too, on Showtime.
The other fight I was talking about is on ESPN, Richard Commey vs Ray Beltran for Commey's IBF Lightweight title. Both have a good back story. Beltran was all set for a big payday against Lomachenko, when Pedraza worked him over and took the title in his first defense. Then he had hand surgery n stuff...and KO's Hiroki Okada (I know lot a folk don't follow LW's).

The Rigo fight, not AS bad of a stoppage, but same thing with Ceja being ahead. I had picked Rigo by wide decision, so points wise I was way off.
Well I gotta get my PICKS in. It's just those 3 fights...
I might try Beltran for an upset.

I think parkers gonna get the winner of ruiz-joshua 2, or maybe the dillian Whyte rematch. I'm cool with either one.

Unfortunately for me I don't get ESPN so I won't be able to watch commey-beltran.

But there's 2 afternoon cards today on DAZN n ESPN+ so I'll be watching those.
