Canelo did not go up in weight. He weighs exactly the same as GGG on fight night. 170 pounds and he is all muscle and no fat at that weight. GGG is rated the 7th best pound for pound boxer in the world by Ring, ESPN,and boxing Scene and the 3rd best by Boxrec at 37 years old and you call him an overrated bum. Hell, if he is a bum then everyone in the ring today is a bum too. You are an overrated bum of a poster to call a pound for pound top fighter a bum.

Vanes was a cherrypick because Canelo was next in 3 months. He had 19 other title defenses many of them against good top contenders such as Murray, Jacobs and Lemieux. All the champions have an easy title defense now and then. Khan defended his middleweight title against loser Khan. Every guy GGG ever defended his title against including Vanes would KO Khan. What about Canelo fighting guys like Kirkland and Angulo who had both been KOed by average fighters.Nobody GGG fought was as bad as them.
