Herbie was a bad fight for Tommy.

Quick moving, hard to hit, fast hands with a pop on every punch, Tommy was infamous for taking too many punches.

Whoever wins, It'd have been by KO, the fight wouldn't have gone to the cards.

im not taking anything away from tommy (although i have my opinion about him thats not the issue). im just saying having tommy in ur avatar is ok. tommy in ur sig, ok. tommy in both. ok, but pushing it. making a tommy thread with the latter, thats obsessive.

im not saying tommy's a bad fighter, im just saying: plz dont flood the forum with tommy threads.

If you class the IBC as a championship belt, he beat a 40 something Foreman, lost to Michael Bentt by TKO in the first round for trying to brawl, He was beating Mercer until he caught a beat down in the third round, and Lewis was simply too good for him.

Basically, whenever he stepped up, he lost.

I honestly think he was rushed too much, he'd fight four times in a month, I can't name a fighter who fights that often in this era.

Tommy was a very skilled fighter with power. To say he was great or even close to it is incorrect. He was fun to watch and I actually like the guy. His lack of chin, stamina and dedication proved to be his downfall.

I always looke forward to his fights becuase they were usually exciting.

What belts did he win? Foreman was damn near 50. You think beating a 50 year old makes someone a great fighter? You are clearly an idiot!
