These 2 duckers shouldn't have been recognized as world champs @ 122 lbs for ducking Rigo like a plague. Rigo was coming off a fresh win against Donaire and was a p4p top 5, they knew it was very rewarding for either of them to beat him, but then refused to take him on. Just tells us they know it to themselves that they can't beat Rigo during that time and wanted to go to a different direction wherein they can build up their careers without having to resort on fighting (or losing to) the p4p fighter in their division.

Smart move for both but pure cowardice.

Which is very sad. Rigo is one of those fighters that I think of whenever we talk about victims of bad politics in boxing. If Donaire was that man @ 122, I'm very sure those duckers would had been lining up for a fight with him.

If Rigo goes on to win the WBC title he will be a future opponant for Pantera Nery since they are both with pbc now. Cant't wait!

                WBC love that PBC payola.
Fight was stopped because he suffered a busted nose that wouldn't stop bleeding. Doctor wouldn't let him continue. He was actually winning the fight handily to that point.

But as I mentioned (along with that nugget), Manzanilla already got his title shot out of it, and Kameda (Interim titlist) is up next versus Vargas.

The only reason he doesn’t have a title at 122 is the WBA stripped him for losing to Lomachenko at 130. They announced they would strip him if he lost but not if he won after the fight had been signed. It makes absolutely no sense.

Wait what? They did that? How can you be stripped for a title at one wait class when you lost at a different one?
