in terms of drawing power, you're probably correct, Mexican's love them whiteboys. but his resume should have an asterisk, considering his gifts vs Golovkin.
As a promoter you know you can safely stick him in with just about anyone and he will be there or thereabouts. He's not the best though, his stamina (mental & physical) punch output and punch selection at times mean he has a lot of close fights and he can't stamp his authority against top fighters.
When I watch Crawford and Loma, I see 2 fighters who are able to maximise their abilities for 12 rounds if need be. Both have had to move up divisions to find challenges. They are both extremely versatile and are able to stay locked in mentally and physically...they make less mistakes as the fight wears on, and their opponents start making more.
Can't say you're head and shoulders ahead the pack when you're competive against all of your opponents.
Last boxer deserving of that title is Mayweather and Pacquiao. With the exception of Mayweather, Marquez and Maidana they were head and shoulders ahead of their competition.
