I'll ask again, how did a supposed non top 10 HW go the distance with Wlad, make it competitive and not even get hurt in the process? But AJ couldn't?

Why couldn't Pedvetkin do what either Ruiz or Jennings did to AJ & Wlad? It's really common sense.

Ortiz has proven more than AJ, the guy just got knocked out by Ruiz, talk about hypejob!
Because he won a few rounds against a champ it makes him good? **** guys like Szpilka were outboxing Wilder is Szpilka good?

Joshua has beaten more top 10 HW's than anyone else in the division.

    Sit down you know nothing.

Wilder never went down against Ortiz. Ortiz was down three times.

And there would be no need for judges if the referee wiped Fury's gloves off after he stood up and waved Wilder in -- instead of letting Fury put his hands on the refs shoulders, turn his back, walk to a corner and then have the ref command him to walk around for a bit until the ref was sure he was okay.

If the ref wasn't sure if he was okay to go when Fury got up and the eight count had been adminstered, then the ref should've stopped it.

A guy in another thread posted a clip of the knockdown in Fury-Cunningham. That's the what the ref did. Counted to eight. Asked Fury is he was okay and waved Cunningham in.

There wasn't this 10 second conversation after Fury GOT UP until the referee decided he was convinced Fury was okay.

Regardless, if people vote Fury, that's fine.

My point is, Joshua has no business at number one. Not after getting floored four times and getting stopped in seven.

There is zero rationale for it.

Szpilka is a good heavyweight. He'll likely outbox Chisora next time out.

I said in my original post and my last post that people may differ on opinion and that’s quite fine. I have no problem with that. My view remains the same, Joshua has still consistently fought higher level opposition and beaten more high level opposition than all the others at the top.

All four (Ruiz, Fury, Joshua and wilder) have officially drew or lost one bout. Arguably some “could” have lost others.

I feel justified that Joshua can still be selected as a #1 in the world on that basis and I won’t be the only one. As I said before though the rematch could change my view

If you people would just acknowledge BJ, Stiverne, Ortiz etc. Are all quality fighters then you'd see that whole UK scene is overrated aside of Fury.
So Rivas deserves to be in the top 5 as well? Knocked out Jennings.. ffs this is not a measuring stick. Jennings is a guy who started boxing when he was 24 years old. He's not even a top 10 heavyweight.

yeah Ruiz's resume was was, but you put som key words in there - PRE AJ.

lol at guys ranking Wilder above Fury despite Fury beating him. Ruiz i can understand because he has the majority of the belts.

AJ not even top 10. long hill to climb for him. we lived through arguably the greatest upset in boxing history.

It's hard to say because the guys ranked in the top 5 with Ring & TNB aren't necessarily the best.

Guys like Pulev, Povetkin are arguably still up there above the likes of Dillian Whyte, Luis Ortiz and Deontay Wilder.

                      We need more fights.
