LAS VEGAS Bob Arum apparently has higher expectations for the Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury rematch with each passing day. Fury's co-promoter predicted during a post-fight press conference Saturday night that when Wilder and Fury fight again, it'll have become so big that their second showdown will either exceed or match the profitability of the most lucrative event in boxing history. That fight, Floyd Mayweather's win over Manny Pacquiao in May 2015, produced approximately $600 million in overall revenue and generated roughly 4.6 million pay-per-view buys.

Both of them had to give away free tickets and only got half attendances, Wilder couldn't break a mil on regular Showtime. Somehow they're going to do over 4 mil ppv?

          Hahahhahahhahhahahaha

At the end of the day wilder is a no skill power puncher with zero personality and Fury is a goofy loooking clumpsy dork with a little more skill but doesn’t look the part.

These guys can’t draw flies to ****ttt

Arum is nuts with this Fury thing.

Wilder vs Fury II will be doing f#cking amazing if they get 1M buys.

They are legends if they get 2M buys.

We are for sure living in a broken computer simulation if they get 4M buys.

Why do people take anything promoters say seriously? Isn't it their job to say crazy stuff like this to promote fights? Like PT Barnum?

Arum is playing the promoter's role like he should. 4 million buys? Aim high and you wont shoot your foot off! 1.5 would be a success!

Asians, Mexicans and South Americans are not interested with clown boxers. Andy Ruiz will do more PPV versus one of the clowns.
