    If Ruiz wins no.

If AJ wins dominantly he should give Ruiz another shot after he's (AJ) gone for Fury or Wilder.

If it's close or improper win for AJ then probably.

I think eventually it makes since, but I think if Joshua wins he might just wanna distance himself for a year or two & maybe revisit a trilogy later on.

If Fury & Wilder are locked into a 2nd or 3rd fight doe maybe a 3rd fight makes sense right away.

If Joshua loses the rematch I think they need to be looking at lesser guys vs a trilogy fight & idek if a trilogy is viable if Joshua loses two in a row.

Just plain and simple he had a 99% chance to win, but he couldnt stand up...dnzn they had a title, until PBC came along

Ruiz already dominated AJ and put him down 4 times and looked the better fighter.

So what, if Ruiz gets stopped, how can we dismiss the fact that Ruiz made a mistake and never recovered too?

          Let’s not have double standards.

So if AJ loses and gets stopped, it’s just a mistake and a one-off. But if Ruiz gets stopped, then AJ gets all the credit?

          That’s a bit unfair.

If its 1-1, it should be a trilogy. Let’s give Ruiz the respect as a champion.

... the actual need for a "trilogy" in boxing should follow the good old "syllogistic formula"...

Agreed. It's not like AJ was dominating and got caught (aka Lennox Lewis). He was in a dogfight and got beat down.

If AJ wins the 2nd, there's a rubber match. If AJ loses the 2nd - closely or by blowout - then Ruiz is simply the better of the two men and there's no reason for a 3rd.
