I think they are fighting someone else next not Wilder. Wilder ain't happening til 2020.

I've heard people say Charr is on deck.

WBO has some right weird names in its top10. After this beast of a name that Schwartz is dealt with he will probably take on the feared names of spong and FA who will move up to 6th and 7th on their rankings after tonight. It doesn’t end there though, kabayol , fujimoto and Romanov are up in the top10 too.

He won’t face wilder till he has fought another fight and hence most likely one of those well known names

Doesn’t seem that fight is happening until early 2020.

Even then i’m not so sure. Wilder is fighting Ortiz isn’t he? - Then you have the fact that PBC probably aren’t going to let Wilder fight on ESPN, they want him on Fox. And Fury isn’t going anywhere but ESPN because of the new deal.

I still think this fight is much harder to make than people are making out, unless ESPN is going to make Wilder some insane offer that can’t be refused, but then didn’t DAZN already basically do that?

It’s OK Bob Arum and Fury saying ESPN gives them the platform to make the huge fights but it’s not quite as simple as that when other fighters have advisors and promoters trying to push their own business and networks they work with.

When it comes down to it, Wilder is one of the biggest names associated with PBC and one of their only stars. They will do everything they can to keep him fighting on PBC. Why would they help out the rivals?
