Joshua probably put extra pressure for himself hoping for a spectacular KO especially after Wilder demolished Breazeale the way he did shortly before.

Hearn made it easy for someone like Wilder to gloat in Joshua's defeat. Joshua was doomed to be embarrassed by losing to someone that looked like Ruiz even if Hearn wasn't a factor.
I think you're are right on every point. As for Wilder gloating, it comes across as envy and jealousy. People love AJ and that's why AJ makes more losing than Wilder or Tyson on their best day. IMO, it eats Wilder up and why he's obsessed with AJ, it's the itch he can't scratch.

By the way.....do people remember jack Johnson or his promoter? Do people remember Joe Louis or his promoter? Do people remember Rocky Marciano or his promoter? Do people remember Ali or his promoters? Do people remember Sugar Ray Leonard or his promoter? Do people remember Sugar Ray Robinson or his promoter? Do people remember the Thrilla in Manila for the fighters or the promoter? How many boxing fans or sports fans remember Tex Rickard or Jack Dempsey? The only promoter that people remember at length was Don King....and the implications of why are sinister to say the least. Promoters should operate from behind the scenes to make sure fighters have ALL the attention, anything else is a personal agenda. I do hope Joshua actually knows who’s really paying him, how much taxes he is paying, and how much exactly he is paying Hearn (not the other way around) including that man’s taxes.

Without Joshua, Hearn is effectively without a star on dazn. On top of the pressure Hearn outs on Joshua, is the tremendous mindgames leading up to the fight that wilder and haymon played by working on and announcing fights with Ortiz and fury. Along with the brutal first round 1st round one punch ko of someone who went 7 with Joshua.....I think that 1-2 weeks of psychological warfare combined with the pressure of his debut in the USA really broke Joshua....on top of the fact he was facing the best opponent he ever has.
You're right. If they schedule the rematch in the US, I will really LOL. We'll know for sure Hearn looking out for DAZN's interests over AJ's

Lol when has Wilder ever been modest and mild?? He was saying he was the greateat fighter ever before the Breazeale fight

I kept seeing interviews with Hearn before the Ruiz fighr and he was saying it was a tough fight. It was the press who were saying it was a formality...

There is something that we all have to agree with is that performance from AJ left a lot to be desired. It was a remarkable capitulation of every single basic boxing skill I have ever seen. How is it possible to loose all your ability in 1 off night, I don’t think that’s possible. What’s clear is that Joshua has no natural boxing ability and relies on strategy/tactics from his corner. He couldn’t make any adjustments throughout the fight, for a guy that’s 6’6 not been able to use better stance work and movement + reach to keep his opponent away showcased a true lack of grass roots boxing ability.

Bumsquad, if you don't care about AJ, why are you talking about him 24/7? That payday is gone brah, now look ahead to the geriatric you are about to face for the second time.

I don't think Joshua "quit." It more came across as a mannerism issue on Joshuas part - he did answer "yes" to continue, but his body language beatdown said "HELL NO!", sorta like when Taylor with his "quick nodding" at Richard Steele to continue with Chavez. Steele also deemed it an insufficient response. Joshua would have allowed himself to be a crumpled mass of muscle if necessary - he seemed to be willing to get flattened. Nevertheless, the ref stopped it at the right time. But, I really don't see the "quitting" part. At least not yet. Hearn on the other hand deserved to have his hyped up "photo shoot" robot LAID OUT like it was!

Wilder is OBSESSED with AJ, he's jealous because the public love AJ. It kills Wilder to know AJ makes more losing than he and Tyson combined...on their best day.

I couldn't figure it out at first, every time Eddie Hearn made a higher offer it seemed like Wilder and Finkel became more agitated. In hind site, Finkel was angry because each offer put pressure on him to explain the massive promotional and financial disparity. Deontay is pissed and getting angrier because he thinks he should be the biggest attraction and paid...at least in America....and he's not.

Wilder sees it as a slight, as if that should be him.
It bakes Wilder's noodle to think Anthony Joshua got so big that he can afford offer him more money than Deontay made in his life....

You may see this differently and maybe you are right but, if I'm correct, Wilder and his team are just getting started. The hate for Anthony Joshua isn't promotional it's jealousy and it's real.
