AJ was gassed and confused. He could have quit in his corner or stayed down.

AJ will not only leave his dressing room but leave the ring with them belts.

AJ being champ again would be the worst thing in hw boxing. Ruiz will probably face Wilder and/or Fury by 2020. AJ won't. Ruiz will also face the likes of Parker (the only guy who overcame him) and some up incoming boxers (the winner of Dubois vs Gorman, perhaps).

I should have been specific. Andy was pretty basic in there and AJ was not himself. He was never hurt.

No champ should look like Andy😒 but he beat the hell outta ur former champ. Just remember muscle don’t make a champion repeat that 1 or 1000 times hell u will get it one day.

Josh is a big boy he knows his mind. He can win rematch as he won't u underestimate ruiz next time. Not that he did apart from rushing in for kill
But the thing is in first fight, Josh got ruiz in trouble first. So he has ability to outbox ruiz whilst his senses aren't scrambled

Funny the amount of people who previously didn't want AJ to suceed - now telling him for his own good he shouldn't rematch Ruiz straight away. If I was Joshua I'don't take it as the best reason to do an immediate rematch!

He will fight Ruiz at a distance and grab and lean on him when he comes close. He can't expose that chin again
