Doesn't matter what happens. If Joshua wins - Wilder and Fury would take that fight now. And they will both take the Ruiz fight. Win/Win for the fans.

Hardcore and Casual Fans don’t tend To get behind little fat HWs especially one who isn’t known for having power and doesn’t seem be a star personality wise...

Couldn't disagree with you more. When has there been another case like Ruiz Jr? Much of his appeal is rooted in the fact that he is a chubby underdog. Not sure why you think that hurts his popularity. If Ruiz Jr wins the AJ rematch, then beats Fury AND Wilder, he is going to be the biggest star on the planet, not just in boxing or sports. He'll be 10x bigger than Canelo.

I was worried when Ruiz said he hasn't trained that hard so far. And he said something like "Imagine in a couple of years time when I look like Hercules...". Don't do it Ruiz!!

I think he meant overeating. The videos of him training look pretty intense..

Buster wasn't great, but neither is ruiz. You're creaming on yourself prematurely (which is probably something something you're used to) over 1 win. The guy lost to Joseph Parker. Get a grip and learn the sport because you're embarrassing yourself.

You sure I'm the one getting embarrassed? I'm not creaming anything except you.

Ruiz one great but he is a solid fighter and his win over the reigning he champ want a fluke like busters. I'm not saying ruiz is great I'm saying he is where he belongs.

His loss to parker, in New Zealand, was very close and many feel ruiz won. But you knew that right since you are a proper boxing fan. Even Parker felt ruiz would beat joshua and has nothing bad to say about ruiz in any of his interviews. Constantly praises his speed and power.

You my friend, are ill informed on buster Douglas and Andy ruiz. I do not beleive you to have a good understanding of the 4 top hw fighters respective skills.

I don't think he holds the title verry long. I don't see him lasting 12 rounds with Wilder and Fury is to elusive and to fast on his feet, would win a loopsided decision. But it seems he is all wrong for Joshua. On the other hand i see the rematch 50/50. Joshua has the ability to drop Ruiz with a good punch(if he lands one) and if he can come in with a different strategie and fight from the outside he could win the rematch. But there is also the psychological factor, Joshua could be a broken fighter now. We dont know how he handles this defeat, maybe hes done, maybe he gets better.

now you're trying to change the narrative by saying ruiz isn't great but is where he belongs. This debate started because I said ruiz would lose to wilder and fury and you got butt hurt. Fact remains, wilder and fury would be favored significantly to beat him. I said ruiz will be considered a step up from buster Douglas and you said that ruiz is levels beyond Douglas, which you're wrong about. So maybe if you stopped expressing female like emotions because someone doesn't share the same absurdly high opinion of ruiz that you do, you wouldn't get embarrassed and be forced to try and change your tune.

Untangle your mind. Buster and Ruiz are not equal. Ruiz us much much much better. Digest this. Buster was nowhere near great.

Ruiz is where he belongs. Fury is a bum beater. Ruiz recently been fighting notches above fury in competition. Fury will get kod by rd 9.

Wilder will be much more competitive. 50/50.

Get off buster Douglas nuts he is no one. So not ever say he is in the same level as ruiz. It's embarrassing and disgusting.
