interesting bit of news about a Mosley-Margarito contest, towards the end:

Late last night, sources reached out to the Mosley's to see what the latest news was regarding their potential November 4 showdown with undefeated pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather. Although their Monday afternoon meeting with Richard Schaefer and Oscar De La Hoya was described as "great", we were informed that a deal has not been struck as of now and a follow up meeting has been scheduled for the near future. While we were not provided with detailed specifics, sources can inform you that Mosley is currently requesting the lion's share of the money for the Mayweather bout to take place. Jin Mosley explained that she feels Floyd Mayweather Jr is delusional for thinking he's going to get the kind of money he's looking for and she made it perfectly clear that both her and Shane believe Mayweather should have taken the $8M to fight Antonio Margarito, going as far as to state, "you tell Bob Arum to give us $8M and we'll fight Margarito in November." Surely there will be much more to follow.

LOL! Jin, come back to reality, shane can't sell ppv, at least with Floyd it'd sell better then Mosley v. Margarito. And offer was already made to Mosley at one time and he said on tv he will not fight Margarito...

Its simple.

Mosley telegraphs punchs, especially his right hand. Vargas couldn't see it cause he's past his best and Margarito has height against Mosley. Something Mosley does not like. Body punching lol, Margarito is a killer to the body, they can go blow for blow but while Mosley throws for the body, Margarito easily comes up from the top hammering Mosley. Uppercut in close or from a distance Margarito has them, and Molsey, well last time he faced a fighter who knows how to throw well placed uppercut his head was almost taken off. Margarito has Mosleys number. Mosley doesn't do well against tall fighers or against aggresive fighers.

I can't see Mosley ever stopping Margarito. Mosley likes to fight with fighters and he ain't that slick when faced with strong aggresive fighters as Margarito is.
