Andy Ruiz Jr trained by Nacho Beristain

How much better would Andy Ruiz Jr be if he were to be trained by the man who helped mold JMM, Finito, Zaragoza, Chiquito, Roman, etc? Shed some of that weight and perfect his already good skills and he'd be a dangerous hombre. The Romanza Gym needs a HW fighter. What do you think?

It would help him big time Nacho is one of the few trainers left that have brought guys from the ground up and turned them into HOF.

Very few trainers that are on Nachos level left.

Its funny i was wondering the same thing the other day. He would be an even better counter-puncher, his combinations and defense improved. Andy is raw talent and Nacho does best with that sort If fighter.

Although I like nacho I don’t think he’s a good match up for Andy. Andy does incorporate a high guard and throws combos, but he’s very much a catch and shoot fighter. The Romanza fighters are on their toes, setting up traps behind the jab and very creative. Andy bashes his opponents. And he’s very naturally instinctual. I like Robles very much for him. Very good fit.

His trainer is fine. He only has 1 debatable loss. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Not really. Sanchez was his trainer for the Parker fight. It was broke, Andy fixed it already lol.

Nacho is a great trainer. He might make Ruiz even better.
