Is GGG chasing another Canelo payday as pathetic as Khan chasing the Floyd payday?

He has been chasing canelo since 2016 and his career has stagnated. He is no people's champ like they are marketing him to be. Which people's champ would downplay other opponents like saunders/andrade/charlo that people want to see and roll eyes when asked about it by the public? Which people's champ would bold face lie to the public and tell that they want all belts and then change the narrative? Which people's champ would "culture vulture" mexican culture and act like he is some fake mexican?

You know any pro boxer worth a damn works their entire career to get to that point...big marquee fights and multi million dollar paydays is what literally every fighter is striving for. I get your point about his career no longer progressing, but at this stage, should it be? I mean, the guy is on the verge of retirement, of course he’s trying to cash out. Should he face up and coming contenders for peanuts?

a fanboy is someone who justified that crap fight ggg had last week and think that ggg all of a sudden deserves a third fight after getting whooped in the rematch.

Real fans would like to see ggg face Andrade(which he clearly ducked) charlo, Derv etc then if he beats one of those guys than heck yea a third fight would be huge because it will show ggg still has something but If he goes straight into a third without proving himself guaranteed the canelo haters will say ggg was washed up because he came of the rolls win that’s why canelo whooped him again.

          Not the same at all

Golovkin was maybe Still is depending how the Dazn contract is set up Canelos best payday

Can you blame Golovkin for wanting a third fight everywhere except NSB the majority of people thought Golovkin won both fights with the scoring in the first fight bordering on criminal

No matter how you rank them Canelo / GGg are 1/2 at MW

Khan was never Mayweather biggest payday just another name . Khan as the Bside would never generate Manny / Canelo #s Probably Maidana / Guerrero #s and literally took years off in his prime begging for a Mayweather fight instead of earning it. Khan was never the man at WW and his best win is Devon Alexander who we found out was addicted to downers when he fought Khan

It’s my belief Mayweather purposely jerked Khan around for years and is so petty he enjoyed dangling a fight only to always pick another fighter whether it was a stablemate in Berto or someone he had beaten in Maidana

Mayweather probably laughs how he jerked Khan over for so long and making Khan become so desperate for a big PPV he took on 2 suicide missions to get them when he fought Canelo / Bud both were almost no win situations and Khan signed up to basically get beat down

In the Rolls fight GGG proved two things:

            1. He can still draw a crowd

            2. And he draws a crowd because he has that good old fashioned KO power that people love watching

Without GGG it would be a boring boxing scene. He's a nice guy, but his power is what make him so appealing and elicits a reaction. It's unusual in how he debilitates people, he doesn't just put people down, he crushes them and doesn't look like he's even trying, much like Foreman. Who else is that scary?

IMO he still has a few years left if he stays fit and sharp, but he himself stated that he feels young and new with a new trainer, so where is that retirement talk again? He stated that he still wants to fight and never mentioned retirement. When he was younger he was harping on about belts/legacy and that other guys like floyd are businessman and turns around to do the same, but WAY worse as floyd was still fighting tough fights, young guys like canelo and top names when he was 36/37. There is nothing wrong in GGG wanting big money fights, but don't be a hypocrite about it and keep that same consistency and energy or hire better PR people around so that he don't look like a clown blabbering BS especially in this social media age. Puh-lease....

Both fights were close and Golovkin is the best opponent available right now. I did not think Khan deserved the fight. IMO

G actually beat Canelo and had a close 2nd fight. And atleast fought one top guy(Jacobs)

While Amir Con sat on his ass and called out Floyd/Manny while doing jackshyt for like 3 years or more

I don’t remember Khan being Floyd’s mandatory, and Floyd dropping his title to avoid Khan.

                    Maybe I’m wrong though.
