Fanboys thinking they're better than other fanboys because some fighter won or lost is akin to the King's pubic lice declaring themselves superior to all the other pubic lice on account of hanging off the royal nuts. Bizarre how much importance dudes attach to that ish and the sheer volume of traffic devoted to that nonsense on here.

Nail meets head, sir. In fact, the very acknowledgement of or voicing concern over "fanboy alt accounts", would tend to indicate a measure of participation in fanboyism or tribal fandom, itself.

It's interesting, I see this very same construct with the LeBron James/Michael Jordan debate. The very same bickering, casting of shade, and litany of detailed narratives of why one fanbase is better than the other. The claim being that it's the opposing fanbase's own fault that they are attacked, mocked, and talked so negatively of, by the other. If only they would just admit the other is right and "stop being such fanboys and blind worshipers", they wouldn't have to be belittled, taunted, and made fools of. In other words, "He started it so I'm just giving him what he deserves".

There's nothing wrong with a healthy rivalry or debate, as long as it is recognized as such and attached its proper importance. It's something else when all perspective is lost and it's portrayed as or elevated to, a false sense of life or character superiority.
