Nice rematch, but I don`t see why is Avanesyan giving him a rematch?

In the contract when Avanesyan signed to fight Lejarraga for the EBU title, there was a rematch clause.

Avanesyan was #1 ranked by the EBU but not the contender, thus a voluntary defence for Lejarraga against the top ranked fighter in Europe at the time.

The mandatory contender was a former EBU champion from Spain (who lost to Eggington, but has now been removed from the rankings due to inactivity and replaced by Josh Kelly as the new contender to Avanesyan, or, as it will be, the winner of Lejarraga-Avanesyan).

So, to get the fight, Avanesyan had to sign a contract to use his voluntary defence as a new champion, should he win, to give Lejarraga a rematch.

Fight will happen in either 3 August in Marbella or two-three weeks later in Bilbao.
