I don't think I've commented on anything Ruiz here since he won so before I start let me say this. I just don't want to come off as hypocritical and want to be straight up with myself and others. Like many I too doubted Ruiz. Granted I didn't know much about him but I didn't think he'd win. I thought he'd offer competitive fight than Miller, but still didn't think he'd win. But of course the shock came and I couldn't be happier for the guy. I learned more about him and he's a class act and he can fight.

With that being said it brings us to a potential Ruiz/Wilder fight. Regardless of his build, the champ can fight. He's got a solid amateur background with over 100 wins and about 5 losses if I'm not mistaken. He's been fighting since he was about 7. I think he's better than Wilder and he's fast and powerful too. I don't know if he has one punch knockout power but he showed he's got enough power to send his opponent into a daze they possibly can't come back from. The thing about Wilder is that he DOES have one punch knockout power. That will always be his biggest weapon. We saw it against Fury, Wilder can be losing every round but with one punch he can change the narrative.

A fight between both men would be exciting to say the least. Both of them have also shown to have grit and heart. They both have come back from adversity to win. That's what makes this fight even more exciting.

You're forgetting one key thing here. Wilder has knocked out every single person he's ever been in the ring with except Fury. Everyone. Ruiz isn't getting up from that same shot.

After the AJ rematch he should fight the Pulevs, Whytes, and Povetkins of the world to get a few paydays before he gets in the ring with Wilder or Fury.

That is if he survives the rematch or Parker doesn't get another shot and outworks him for 12 rds like he did last time.

I like Andy, I just hope he doesn't end up like Buster Douglas.

But then we end up with the same problem. The biggest criticism of today. The best not fighting the best. I think if fighters are in their prime, they should fight others in their prime. I can understand a Manny Pacquiao selecting his opponents, but not prime fighters.

Ruiz has the boxing pedigree.

100 Amateur fights. He has faster hands and is a better technical boxer than Wilder.

Wilder has a mean right hand, but if he can't knock Andy out...cold, then I can easily see Andy outpointing Wilder.

First things first, go get that first defense against AJ.

I didn't say that but there aren't any he can exploit. Ruiz has to hope Wilder doesn't take him seriously enough, about his only chance. Wilder has a wide margin for error to win that fight.

Wilder is open for business. He's gotten tagged by less talented and been on ***** street. Andy was knocked down, but wasn't on ***** street.

It's a bad ass fight, but Andy has pedigree, 100+ amateur fights, fast hands, accuracy and deceptive stamina. Also has a decent chin.

If Wilder Doesn't knock Andy out, I actually think he loses on points to Andy.

u know wilder lost that fury fight and only reason that he took it because he thought it will be easy work due to furys long layoff

fury may have out boxed him but knock downs have a huge impact on fight results, the fight was ruled a draw, its kinda hard to give a win to a fighter who was knocked down twice in a fight!! FURY is a great fighter and a very cool and likeable guy!! in fact all these heavyweights are really cool, i really dont care who wins they all deserve it!! so im not TEAM wilder or team joshua, but i do see wilder as the dominate of them all right now!!

Very true, but it's a reality of the game so it has to be taken into account.....
