I can see Ruiz getting a flash knockdown on Wilder. I can. Ruiz can windmill better than Wilder can AND eat punches while doing it. Commentators lying saying it's the first time Wilder's been dropped as a pro. I can definitely see that.
But I also see Ruiz eventually getting bombed out from a straight right.

Wilder would Mortal Kombat finish The Snickers Man!
Wilder’s Infinity Gauntlet with power stone is just too much!

Glad Ruiz knocked this fool down a few pegs, and I'm hoping he finishes him in the rematch....only because I don't wanna see Hearn's face or hear about about anymore Wilder/AJ "negotiations".
If Ruiz beats AJ again, Hearn's power is gone. Good! No more marinating these big fights...there's only like 5 guys in the HW division that's actually worth watching for *****'s sake.
As mentioned, I can't see Ruiz backing down or ducking anybody, so let's keep it that way for the sake of the sport.
PS: Wilder puts Ruiz to sleep. He uses his reach and range to his advantage, unlike AJ a couple of week's ago. I wanna say AJ was just caught up in the hype of the whole event, but that would discredit Ruiz's efforts.

I don't see it. Wilder has better stamina. Andy will be a one and done champion if he fights Wilder next. Wilder will be undisputed and you can bet your ass you'll never see Wilder fight AJ, and Fury rematch may not come off either. They will lowball Fury and Wilder will fight a string of journeymen until he is 51-0.

After the AJ rematch he should fight the Pulevs, Whytes, and Povetkins of the world to get a few paydays before he gets in the ring with Wilder or Fury.
That is if he survives the rematch or Parker doesn't get another shot and outworks him for 12 rds like he did last time.
I like Andy, I just hope he doesn't end up like Buster Douglas.

I don't think I've commented on anything Ruiz here since he won so before I start let me say this. I just don't want to come off as hypocritical and want to be straight up with myself and others. Like many I too doubted Ruiz. Granted I didn't know much about him but I didn't think he'd win. I thought he'd offer competitive fight than Miller, but still didn't think he'd win. But of course the shock came and I couldn't be happier for the guy. I learned more about him and he's a class act and he can fight.
With that being said it brings us to a potential Ruiz/Wilder fight. Regardless of his build, the champ can fight. He's got a solid amateur background with over 100 wins and about 5 losses if I'm not mistaken. He's been fighting since he was about 7. I think he's better than Wilder and he's fast and powerful too. I don't know if he has one punch knockout power but he showed he's got enough power to send his opponent into a daze they possibly can't come back from. The thing about Wilder is that he DOES have one punch knockout power. That will always be his biggest weapon. We saw it against Fury, Wilder can be losing every round but with one punch he can change the narrative.
A fight between both men would be exciting to say the least. Both of them have also shown to have grit and heart. They both have come back from adversity to win. That's what makes this fight even more exciting.
