Who the F is gonna pay for Boxing articles?

So now there's Athletic where you gotta pay a monthly subscription just to read their articles? WTF?

    Who's gonna pay for that?

I remember back in the day some hard cored boxing heads would pay Maxboxing for some breaking news and exclusives but this was damn near 20 years ago when most of us didn't even know how to really fully use the internet even and there was no Google even or YouTube both which are obviously free.

I'm not hating just wondering if theres really a market for that?

At first I thought DAZN was a rip off but you run the numbers and we do get a shat ton of fights for just 99 right?

But who's paying to read boxing articles? Am I missing something here?

If the general public keeps saying yes to all the bullchit thrown at us , soon we’ll have to pay to take a chit in your own home
Like you mentioned earlier on , before these sites wanted amateur writers or their scoops
Now they reversed it on us
I kid you not , we will pay for everything one way or another

I like Lance's writing, not sure I'd pay for it, but Boxingscene writers seem to write stories verbatim from YouTube videos, maybe they can write Ciffs Notes' on articls form AthleticBoxing too.

I guess they're going to have Podcasts too.

It's like those "newspapers" that charge for online access. Why would I fork out money for crap that's free on the net & local tv.?!

Real talk watch them charge people for the amount of paper they use in the bathroom next. If not that then for the straws, forks, ketchup, sauces, & spoons.

Yea idk wtf is going on these days. Articles are behind pay walls now lol.

I dig Rafe Boogs so I'm hoping his podcast stays alive, but guessing its days are numbered now with him being one of their boxing guys.

Lance Pug is in on it to. Looks like they got everything covered over there cuz I did take a look, but I find it hard to pay for a bunch of sports sh^t a don't care about & probably 2 boxing articles a month I care about.

Ahhhh funny... I used to be a “member” at Maxboxing for a few bucks a month. I think I did it for the videos, which weren’t as accessible as they are today, plus they gave you a nice T Shirt.
