Beating Steve Rolls means nothing. So what has GGG done to demonstrate he's deserving of another fight with Canelo? Shouldn't he beat some other contender to prove he's worthy?

Given Canelo two close fights, the first of which everyone knows he won?

But don't worry. Oscar is planning to hold it off till Golovkin is 39 or 40.

No especially if he turned down the fight with DA WBO champ as he confirmed today but Canelo goes after the 2nd best middle weight IBF champ but GGG goes for rolls 88 special bum . Rejected WBO fight haaa he is an exposed sucker Canelo calls the shots not DAZN especially since AJ got crushed !!

No he's not entitled to a 3rd fight buuuut he did have two fights with Canelo that, to say the least, could have went either way. Throw in that he brings in more money and legacy to Canelo than any other current middleweight. He didn't help his own cause fighting Rolls. It wouldn't have taken much effort to come up with a better opponent.

It doesn’t go by emotional keyboard warriors it goes by the fans and the all mighty dollar. He could have done the same thing many fighters do and just stay inactive until the third fight.I enjoy both fighters your opinions are emotionally based and do not reflect the average fan.

Boxing is both a sport and a business. On the business side, neither Team GGG nor Team Canelo can make as much money fighting other opponents as they can fighting each other; on the sport side, both previous fights were competitive, with a majority of onlookers scoring both fights for GGG, making a third fight a natural--IF held in a "neutral" location, such as Madison Square Garden--as pervasive, unaddressed judging problems in Las Vegas have made that location a toxic "NO GO ZONE" for "B-Side" fighters who genuinely believe they can win.

That 2nd fight looked definitive to me, Canelo broke his damn face. I think Canelo finds it really hard to get motivated for a third fight, which is why he wants that WBO belt on the line to ****e it up a bit. Why are GGG fans so scared of him facing Andrade? I don't get it, will GGG age that much more in 8 months? Really odd reaction by GGG fans. No belt, no fight, Canelo laid it out clearly and GGG chose to fight Rolls, too bad.

What belts did Canelo have when Golovkin fought him?

He's been acting like he's entitled to it since the first fight, even when Canelo had given up the belt GG was supposed to be going after.
