That Vanes fight was trash then fights Rolls who know one heard of. Smh.
He keeps insisting he beat Canelo, but he acts like a guy who lost and knows he lost. He comes back against a tomato can, he fires his long time trainer and hires another because he says he needs to learn to box better.

He has done exactly what losing fighters usually do. They fire their trainer and line up a tomato can (tune-up) to beat in order to get their confidence back.

This - even for a tune up / filler fight a dude like Rolls ain't really acceptable for a guy of Golovkin's calibre. In fact if anything I think he would have been better served by fighting someone higher up the food chain even if his only intent was to get a few rounds in... at least do it with someone folk have heard of and might present even a minor challenge.

Exactly...A guy like GGG is only hurting himself fighting guys this low-ranked. Atleast fight somebody competitive to keep sharp in between Money fights. And to keep name credible. But his team obviously don't care.

Atleast a guy like DSG makes up for his cherry picking by fighting decent opponents in between big fights.

Team Ggives no fcks. Thats why any fan thinking he wanted any parts of Ward seem 100 delusional when his team has shown they hate taking any risks

Lol Wilder talking doing trilogies for Ortiz and Fury and his fans celebrating his record of absolute no hopers and Breazeale before them is the same if not worse IMO.
Jax teller from that show glorifying white boy bikers?

              HA and NF.... roll hard..

Wilder needs to fight Ruiz jr...

              My money on Ruiz...

IDK.. I mean I make no bones about being a Golovkin fan, but I've been disappointed with many of his or the teams decisions since 2015 or so when the Canelo paydays became a likelihood.

I suspect that his priorities changed when he realised he was approaching the latter stages of his career and still hadn't made the real major paydays he'd been promised or perhaps he believed he deserved.

I dunno, priorities and perspectives change over time - I know mine sure as hell have done - and just because he seems to have taken a path of least resistance towards maximising his income in the twilight of his career, it does not necessarily follow that he was unwilling to take more risks earlier on when time seemed to be more on his side.

I mean, the story of fighters who would fight anyone on the way up only to become hesitant to take on the latest wunderkind once they'd been sitting on their titles a while is as old as the sport itself.

My question is why do you guys continually refer to boxers as bums, couch potatoes referring to athletes as bums is very disrespectful

Yeah ikr. But the diffrence with his team is that it be soooo blatant. Atleast other guys carefully pick guys they can promote to casuals. But team G goes out to Home Depot and picks any guy leaving from their 30min lunch break.

Not really though, if you have basic comprehension you can see a I'm drawing the similarities between his and Wilders record/situation to point out your hypocrisy.
