Who the hell was elated on the forum. The majority of Golovkin fans stated before the matchup that they weren't impressed. Which is more than I can say about the Canelo lunatic fringe that defended his choices of Khan, Fielding, Mosely and a weight drained Chavez Jr. Not to mention punching out a 108 pound fighter, consorting with criminals, failing drug tests creating his own weight class and generally being an arrogant entitled SOB.

Real boxing fans know that GGG has ducked no one and even tried to fight Ward in 2013 when HBO wanted that fight and Ward said no.

We know he tried to fight every top10MW that was available since he turned pro.

ggg rejected fights with dervy, charlo and andrade in less than a year.

37/38 years old Golovkin can certainly choose who he wants to fight now to maximize money before retiring.

All of the greats did tune-up fights that are quickly forgotten. Why would a fighter risk missing out on a huge payday by ******** with a loss towards the end of his career? G’s career choices makes perfect sense to me.

Wilder is in the HW division. Can't move up or down. GGG has weight options as we saw his fight at 164 this weekend. There really is no reason for his resume to be that bad when he can move up or down for good fights. Everybody else has done it.

So there's no way he could have fought some better opponents since becoming a Champ or the 33(?) fights before?

The only difference is you've got excuses and bias double standards everyone can see through you.
