I swear if Joshua don't use home advantage in the rematch he's an idiot.

Fair play to Joshua for asking to return to New York for the rematch. There are demons that need to be exorcised; he probably needs to prove to himself as well as the rest of the boxing world that he can perform outside of the UK.
It's a big risk though, gain revenge in style and the world is at his feet again. It probably even makes a unification against the winner of Wilder-Fury more realistic, as Joshua has now shown a vulnerability they will surely want to pounce on instead of further putting things off. But where does his career realistically go with a repeat result? For that matter, what happens if he even stutters to victory? I can't see the sanctioning body's allowing for an immediate trilogy without losing at least one of the belts, so he needs to win this by KO and at a canter to show that the 1st fight was just an anomaly.

I have a change of heart, the rematch needs to happen in the UK.

Just watching how the powers that be in the US don't want Josh to get those belts back and want to see the end of Hearn since they're linked together. Josh needs to come back home, win the belts back, then go back to the US when it's time for a big fight.

Ruiz can ask for a 100 mil but one last time when he was B side challenger he signed a rematch provision which had financial language with parameters now that he is A nothing changes he is on old deal

If Joshua's goal was to built his brand in and "conquer" America, he can't do that from England. He NEEDS to show he can do it HERE. Haters gonna hate regardless but if he beats Ruiz from England, there will be an asterisk on the victory and the haters will let him know it too. He's showing a warrior mentality - if he wants to leave no doubt, run it back in the States. Or even better...do it in Los Angeles, close to the champ's hometown. Thats what a G would do.

A ring is a ring where ever it's placed but if the decision is left to Joshua where it does take place then he be a fool not to take it where he is mentally most happy with. Don't forget 'home' advantage brings enormous pressure and this fight would be more than he's ever faced coming in as challenger against a guy who beat him convincingly last time out.He needs to be measured and not too gun-ho would a massive British crowd allow for that?

In U.S. Ruiz wins by KO again. In U.K. there's a chance Joshua can survive to the final bell which means he gets the decision. That's the only issue that reallying matters.

At this point I'll give AJ some credit. The reason he got KOd was Hearn lost control. Going back home for its advantages instead of upping his game is the easy way out.
