    GGG's performance against Rolls

What did you think of Rolls performance? Considering Rolls wasn't a really known fighter, many thought of it as a really unfair fight, do you think GGG performed well?

he snapped GGG's head pretty good a couple of times. That's pretty much what we all expected from him

alexnation Right. I did see some difference with GGG, it must be because of his new trainer. But, I am not impressed for the fact that his opponent was Rolls.

I didn't see much change except for that crushing punch from the Southpaw stance. That was a beauty. I wanted a rematch ASAP but now I'm not so sure. Implementing changes against a good fighter like Canelo for the first time might prove a disaster.

He was putting combination together, going up, down, down, up. Southpaw shuffle, but he kept giving free shots to his opponent. According to someone in twitter who interviewed GGG, he does that so that the opponent gets confident and opens up and not go into a shell when GGG starts tagging them (Supposedly).

That's interesting, I wonder if it's actually true. So Golovkin let Rolls hit him few times to build fake sense of security in him and let him over extend his punches? Weird tactic but interesting.

To be honest I always noticed he kinda let opponents off the hook the first round and then truned up pressure the following rounds gradually and my guess is so people enjoy the show a little more.

Its a good tactic if you can take the punch, one of these days thou it will backfire on GGG (aka when his chin finally gets "cracked" per se).

It was good to see how much work he put into a body attack. GGG used to go to the body so much earlier in his career and did up until a few years ago. It was a huge reason why he would get the KO's because it broke the guys down so much, or he just ended up getting a KO to the body. You could see how the steam went off Rolls punches round to round just because of the body work. A full training camp will be better so what we got Saturday night was an ok performance. I think he looked fine.
