Ok, Einstein...have you seen the contract, do you know the stipulations of a contract? You do realize that even Floyd needed the ok from showtime for his opponents...we are talking about the highest grossing fighter ever...EVER. So now what is a standard business contract gets completely voided because it's Oscar and Canelo Alvarez. This isn't a matter of conjecture or opinion but literally business 101 basics. Also since you want to bloviate about contracts and business..I'm sitting here responding from a company I own..where are you typing to us from? A break from dishwashing?
On to your other points, this is not a "standard" business contract. In fact, though it might sound nice, there is no such thing as a standard business contract. The terms and condition of a contract apply only to a specific contract signed by the relevant responsible parties. As for business 101, I taught graduate business and economics courses for many years and in my final 2 decades before retiring was fortunate enough to become the CEO large organization employing thousands of folks. During that time, I was a party to crafting hundreds of contracts and approving many more of them after legal counsel review. That notwithstanding, I don't hold myself out to be an oracle. I am just expressing my views --fallible as they are.Comment

It's understandable why Canelo doesn't want a third fight. To have already being the benefactor of two previous corrupt decisions in a row is amazing but to expect a third is really over the top. I expect his biggest fear is having to survive a fair decision when if you look at the first two fights is not realistic.LMMFAO!

Again, learn the difference between opinion and fact. You aren't in a position to have your opinion be fact. You don't have that authoritative voice, nor the role, nor is anyone asking you for your expertise on the subject of it...all of which would give you opinion prominence. So pretty much your opinion at the moment is the equivalent of a soft silent fart in a wind storm.Comment

THAT IS THE MOST HONEST, UNBIASED STATEMENT YOU'VE MADE! You are correct, GGG is nearly done and there is little that I've seen that tells me he beats Canelo in a rematch. That said...it's the most money either can make without fighting Andrade. Charlo is with another promoter and so is BJS.....no way they'll risk three belts to Warren or Haymon.

I'm not saying your scenario doesn't make "boxing" sense.. but to say that DAZN owes more to Andrade than to GGG is crazy. They invested tons of money into GGG, knowing that they could make the trilogy happen. They owe it to their company to make that fight happen and they were pushing it very hard during the broadcast. I'd be shocked if they risked screwing up that potential showdown for the benefit Andrade, especially since their both fairly young and GGG is nearing the end. They'll have their huge event and then can make the winner fight Andrade and it will still be for ALL FOUR BELTSComment
