Loeffler and GGG putting all their focus on just one fighter is just not a good look for me.
It actually annoys the hell out of me.
It becomes a sad excuse not to fight anyone worth watching.
It's also sad that some fighters had to leech off someone's popularity,
instead of doing their thing on their own
without being so dependent on just one superstar,
who can only fight one fighter at a time.

Loeffler said DiBella “gave” Rolls because they were trying to “find” an opponent. I don’t mind Rolls tbh. Rolls is more decorated in pedigree than Brandon Adams, so imo it worked out for GGG ridicule imo. Adams is inferior to Rolls, regardless if PBC stole Adams for Charlo.

What we should be figuring out is who is Canelo going to fight in Sept.?

Loeffler saying acquiring a belt is a ploy in negotiations... well, Canelo was always A side to begin with, had GGgs belts, had the more prestigious contract than GGG. I see Loeffler trying to play hardball even without Abel.

At least Canelo GGG are in negotiations, but if we know Loeffler, this is the guy who wanted 50/50 for Ward. Makes sense why Oscar is putting Loeffler in his place.

I hope Canelo gets Andrade in Dec. for Undisputed. We haven’t heard Oscar nor Hearn really make waves to make the Andrade Canelo bout. Gotta get past Sulejki first I guess

Why would GGG fight Andrade when he’s one of Canelo’s top options? Why would he fight anyone risky until he gets a third Canelo fight?

Canelo has already spoken, GGG needs a belt. Only way to get a belt is to beat Andrade...so DAZN better start pressuring GGG to fight Andrade this fall if they want the trilogy to happen. Canelo calls the shots, he's the superstar, period.

It would’ve been a waste of time for Ward anyways. GGG would never have beaten Ward. If HBO was serious, they would’ve made lucrative guarantees to Ward and GGG to make the fight. It ended up being Roc Nation to give Ward what Arum calls “overpaid.”

Ward vs GGG narratives were at its peak even before GGG acquired the IBF from Lemieux. GGG asking for a 50/50 split for a guy whom had already cleaned at 168 with a stronger resume wasn’t going to be an AJ vs Wilder split drama.

At the end of the day GGG ducked Ward. If GGG was so popular for HBO back in the day then the network would’ve advised Loeffler to make a fight in the Arum Gold era of PAC with a catchweight at 168 with any belt holder.
