I agree with most of the post but I think GRJ gives him some fits and I don't think he knocks him out. Not sure on Santa Cruz either. I think he definitely beats Santa Cruz though.

In some ways, the rise and fall of Nas somewhat parallels AJ. They both became the biggest UK PPV stars of their time, but got too rich too quick. By the time they made the crossover to the US, they had already started losing interest, and eventually got beat by a hungry Mexican on the rise (Barrera and Ruiz).

Marvin Hagler once said, "It's hard to get up at 6am when you're wearing silk pyjamas." That's what happened to both Nas and AJ.

      stop making excuses.

funny how he only lost interest once he had to start taking real fights.....

I don't think he knocks out Rigo either.

Sh.it, now that I think about it...Hamed vs Rigondeaux is a pretty good fight. I think I might like Rigo in that one if it's at 126.

Prince Naseem Hamed had afew fights in america, and they where all awesome spectacles.

Just imagine Prince Naseem Hamed linking up with Eddie Hearn, he would be the most popular boxer on the planet.

Prince Naseem Hamed was one of the last icons of the sport, last real fighter to transcend the sport in my opinion.

If that's true why wasn't he that big a star when he was fighting? You are living in fantasy land when it comes to him. He was good but not great. He got humiliated by Barrera and quit boxing. He is a very wealthy man but he needs to lose about 100 pounds or he may shorten his life.

                  - -Always had him beating Tue 50-0 at 130, an easy time overlap.

Not a PPV star anymore than TUE was then. Keep it real, will you?

I'm not sold on any lil guy being a PPV star.

There's not been any PPV in boxing history with under 147lb guys that did 500k+ buys.
