Rolls is honestly under rated given the right fights he could rank up in the top 30s. Decent all around journeyman who has decent movement, ok power, ok athleticism, ok technique. He does have poor accuracy, and has poor grasp of distance but he is a decent fighter. It was a tune up to test out his training with a new trainer, and a keep busy after getting backed up by Canelo all night. I think a more aggressive GGG with a little bit of work on his jab, and head movement can ko Canelo.

After watching the fight last night, I think Rolls would be a little tough for me (Jr. lightweight) to knockout. I think I might be able to stop him but probably not by legit KO. He seems like a really nice guy though, why do you want to see people talk about him getting beat up?

At the end of the day, Ranked 81 in the world is still an extremely good accomplishment and not a bum at all and wonder how any of you would do against Rolls.

We are just fans not pro boxers. GGG could have fought someone better but he expects to fight Canelo in 3 months so he didn't want a hard fight. Boxrec ranks Rolls 81st in the world but the IBF ranks Rolls 8th in the world at 160.

Since when is criticism of an opponent have anything to do with mfers at home on their couch being able to beat said opponent? Canelo fighting Khan was a bs fight & I doubt most mfers could beat Khan either. I'm a Michigan fanboy & even I was critical of Floyd fighting Berto in his formerly last fight with him (I gave him a pass on McGregor since that was a novelty fight in my eyes) & I don't think I'm kicking Berto's ass.

I agree GGG can KO Canelo if he can get the rematch before age 40. Oscar seems to want GGG real old before risking Canelo against GGG again. While Canelo easily beat Jacobs he gassed out bad in the late rounds and only threw about 450 punches all fight. GGG can throw 75 punches a round and take Canelo out when he gasses in the late rounds.

Thing is most people are sitting comfy when slating rolls. I guarantee if there was a open gym session and rolls invited people to spar it would set off adrenaline and nerves. And shut the haters up he could drop most of us with the first solid punch landed.

Me personally I would be breathing heavy focused on evasion I could get away with flicking the jab out for a min before rolls lands something significant ultimately dropping me. I'm under no illusions I boxed as an amateur from ages 11 to 17 but haven't boxed in 10 years only light shadowboxing basic circuit etc.
