GGG won more of those 24 rounds they fought. I am all up for the 3rd fight, but only if it is not in Vegas.

Canelo fans and GG haters don't want a 3rd fight. They know there's a strong chance Canelo won't get gifted a 3rd time. These are mostly the same people that cried their eyes out until Marquez finally got a win against Pac.

Canelo would outbox Gennady in early rounds due to superior speed, but he always slows down mid rounds (even Jacobs fight). If GGG uses body punches, I like his chances stopping Canelo.

        Canelo needs to pace himself.

GGG has regressed but is still an elite fighter, whilst Canelo is arguably at his peak at the moment. The first two were good fights and the third will likely follow suit. Plus there’s definitely unfinished business. As a boxing fan I’m excited for the third fight.
They were good fights but a trilogy is not really that intriguing anymore. 24 rounds no knock down and no one was seriously hurt in both bouts. Ggg always looks good or refreshed when he fights a nobody but looks old or timid when he fights someone with a pulse.

I'm definitely good with it. Didn't watch today's fight and probably won't, but see GGG got a quick KO. To me both fighters have essentially fought even through two fights. Let the third fight settle this once and for all.

I think Canelo won the rematch cleanly

he controlled the fight, and he inflicted his style on his opponent

Golovkin could not deter Canelo, who won many of the exchanges with flashy eye-catching punches..... and Golovkin could not get his game going, or follow the instructions from his corner

he also got ****** up, which - aside from popular opinion - is a valid factor..... and was a direct result of Canelo inflicting his style/gameplan on his opponent.....

other than a close jab-count, which really does not matter in the context of that fight..... because Golovkin was fending/parrying and throwing single jabs a lot of the time, not setting up his offence or even controlling distance as well as Canelo did in the first fight
              '
I have no interest in the rematch because..... 1) Golovkin does not deserve that fight..... 2) there are at least two other contenders who are more worthy, one has been mandatory for a long while now..... and Golovkin refused to fight him, despite that bout being an eliminator for Canelo..... 3) the result of a trilogy will just be crying and more excuses, both from Golovkin and his fans

the only potential positive from that fight is, I think Golovkin will get smacked up even more than he did in the rematch

Canelo will let him win 2-3 more fights, and will give it a green light for Sept. - October 2020. By that time, it might not go full distance. Canelo knows exactly what he is doing.

You mean Oscar. And yes, he always knew: Wait till Golovkin gets old. Marinate.

That, plus corrupt judges, is a solid plan.

It's not pointless, plenty of people think there is unfinished business here and that the question of who is the best at middleweight has not been settled.

The first two were good close action-packed fights between two elite boxers. I know I want to see it again.
