Ggg is notorious for back of the head punches and top of the head. It’s why he never gets one punch ko’s. Those punches mess up your equilibrium and it’s downhill from there. Ggg trains for those types of punches and if you go back and look at his ko’s, most start with top or back of head punches and then he finishes them off. Canelo did an awesome job of countering these attacks which is why he was never staggered. A lot of “Gggs power” is derived from these borderline illegal punches.Comment

He's been like this since at least Kell Brook, and a bit since Monroe and Wade. Canelo is a hypejob. He waited for him to get old. I tried to tell you guys. It just took GGG finally fighting another B-level guy for everyone to finally see the difference instead of saying "as soon as GGG fought the best, he looked bad." Bull****. So a welterweight is the best? Prime GGG would have sparked Brook cold in a few rounds, instead he cant drop him once in 5 rounds and BHop is commentating saying he has nothing on his punches.
That was like 3 years ago. Canelo fought an old GGG and still struggled.Comment

People will beech and whine, but ultimately everyone will be watching GGG-Canelo III. Everyone. And everyone will be talking about it. I would be happy to see DAZN using their leverage and pressuring Canelo to fight GGG in September. It is now or never, nobody would care about this in 2 years and somebody needs to put a leash on DLH's strategy of waiting out GGG's prime. They have and still have never beat him convincingly (not to open the millionth "who won: GGG or Canelo" debate).
When somebody pays the bills of your 5th generation descendants they should have a say in how you deliver your end of the bargain.Comment
