I dunno if it has to do w/ him being White or not. But it is true that Whites have moved on to other sports. Baseball, Football, Soccer, Hockey are all dominated by Whites, who mostly abandoned Boxing decades ago.

Boxing was left to Blacks, who lack the heart and chin to really be legendary champions, like the fighters of old. Look at Joshua the other night. Or Jones a few years ago. Or how Ray Robinson had to be dragged out of the ring in the closing rounds of a fight he had all but won.

Fans want fighters to fight. Outside of Latinos and Asians in the lower weights, the majority of Boxers since WWII have been Black. It's just not a sport they are cut out for, no matter how many changes are made to the rules to accomodate them.
