Does Steve Rolls have any chance of beating Gennady Golovkin???

Basically, is it worth staying up until 4am to watch this fight. Who tf is Steve rolls. Does he have one punch knockout power or Floyd mayweather esque boxing skills?

Did Ruiz have a chance before the AJ fight? The new GGG will be dancing like a butterfly and stinging like a bell hornet.

I think there's several aspects making an upset possible. There's the question of how Golovkin will mentally handle losing for the first time to a guy he hated, plus the trainer drama and the generally-accepted fact that he's past his best now. Rolls is an unknown quantity as well, and with him being unbeaten we probably can't say for certain just what his ceiling is - for all we know he could be a star-in-waiting who's about to take his chance at becoming big time.

All that said I still think it would be a shock if it happened. I know it's tempting to get caught up in Upset Fever following last week but I think it's important to stay realistic. At the end of the day the most realistic result is a Golovkin knockout in the early-mid rounds.

I don't buy the narrative that hes past his best just because his age despite him not doing anything remotely different til now inside the ring. Theres ZERO difference from the ggg that fought brook to the one that faced Canelo in the rematch. Ggg vs vanes is proof his bumslaying skills are perfectly intact.(no disrespect to vanes but he was retired 2 yrs & nowhere near big enough or elite)

Ggg never had a prime according to his fans who on the one hand claim canelo aged him by signing to fight him less than a yr after vacating over gggs demands,

yet at the same time they claim gg wasn't at his best vs Brook who lifted him an inch off his ft when he uppercutted him.

Ggg will slay Rolls whenever he feels hes had enough practice off him,Rolls has zero parralels to Ruiz who has always been a legit professional & a good resume all things considered, while Rolls is literally a 35 yr old amatuer with worse power than Wade or monroe Jr,Rolls couldn't punch his way out a wet paper bag w scissors in his hands,I was watching a video of his open workout,he looks like he will gas after the 2nd rd vs ggg.
