The terms for the rematch was in the contract that Ruiz signed. Aka Ruiz isn't touching 50m's for the rematch.

We'll see. The guy with the belts has a lot of leverage. Wouldn't be the first contract re-worked.

BTW, where did you view all those contract details?

The fight doesn't merit PPV in the US.

Ruiz-Joshua 2 will happen at Wembley, get pushed to the **** for Sky Box Office, ... and then things could get interesting.

If it's a late fall fight, depending on the weekend, you're up against college football heavy. Still, you usually end up with a couple dud weeks each season.

What's to say that Showtime/CBS doesn't pay a premium to simulcast the fight for Showtime International?

Heck, FOX may be comfortable with airing the Sky Sports feed (though I doubt it).

        Won't be PPV though
Fight is looking like November/December. Wembley isn’t an option

This rematch seems completely unnecessary. Joshua got obliterated.

Usually after a beatdown like that you don't need a rematch because you already know who the better fighter is but ok.

          It's Joshua's funeral lol

One thing about Hearn and Joshua is this, they are not dumb truck or lack business sense when it comes to money, if FOX or Showtime offers them more money than what DAZN is putting down then they would go with FOX/Showtime, none of these “Loyalty” crap. They aren’t slaves to some random executives like that.

According to sources the contract is iron clad. So no way he is getting 50m, but am sure Team Joshua would accommodate some of his wishes. They would play nice just to keep him sweet.

... with the rematch planned for November - December it would be impossible to take place at the Wembley Stadium!

For the June 1st fight, Joshua was supposed to earn in the neighborhood of $20-25 million, and Ruiz about $7 million...

Joshua sure; Eddie Hearn is chasing $1b though.
