Comments Thread For: Jose Ramirez Views Hooker As "Big Step" Towards Undisputed

It remains to be seen whether Jose Carlos Ramirez will bother to learn the correct pronunciation for sports streaming service DAZN by the time he faces Maurice Hooker on the platform. For now, the only new phrase he's fully interested in repeating is unified champion.

Can't help but think the The Ring ratings at 140 are spot on, and the results likely to go that way. Ramirez(3) beats Hooker(4), Prograis(1) beats Taylor (2), then Prograis beats Ramirez for all the marbles.

But Saucedo was the betting favourite against Hooker, and any of the fights can go either way - nice line up of fights if the winners Prograis/Taylor and Ramirez/Hooker take it all the way, nice if every division did the same.

Saucedo is a defense nightmare. He got beat to death until he pulled out a hail Mary most fights. Ramirez has facets that sparkle in comparison. I mean, no comparison.

I agree Ramirez beats Hooker, but the prograis Taylor fight I just can't call. I think prograis got the edge in power and Taylor got the edge in skills. It's so close, to me it's a true 50/50 fight. But whoever wins between Taylor and prograis I think beats whoever wins between Ramirez and hooker.
