Im still an AJ fan but I don't belive he will ever be elite

I had concerns in the past that he needed to leave Robert Mcraken and fix the holes in his game. Rob is a decent trainer but he isn't amazing. He never showed up the holes in Froch's game, and ge hasn't with Joshua.

The only way I'd change my mind is with solid proof that AJ DID go into the ring with a SERIOUS pre existing issue but I doubt it.

Truth is Rob should have gone after the Takam fight at the latest, and I'm amazed he didn't leave on Sunday morning.

Rob can't teach an effective back foot style, or a decent jab, he's a come forward type trainer which is fine vs certain opponents of if you are Carl Froch but Joshua isn't a hard man with an iron chin like Froch, who you never see get ****** out by a Mexican midget.

Joshua is still world class, he has enough attributes for that, and he can still beat most of the top 10 including Wilder

But Ruiz, Fury, and even Jarell miller and possibly Whyte and Usyk can all take him.

He's not going to learn a world level back foot game with that coach, and without it his ceiling is decent world class but no elite.

Anthony Joshua should stick to Euro-British level, like the last British Olympic Gold-medalist ( that Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder smashed) , Audley Harrison.

I would advice A.J and Eddie to stay away from David Price, we know the rumors are true. A show-down with Hughie Fury for the British HW title is in order. Hughie, like Tyson cant punch so A.J's chin is safe and the UK will hand over their wallets for this one.

Joe Rogan who is the biggest Josh hater just said on his podcast that he heard Josh was badly hurt and had concussion a week before fight and he went in there vulnerable.

He's gonna be alright. Parker has faster hands and more power than Ruiz and he also moves and he's nimble. And Josh outpointed him comfortably. Ruiz doesn't even move his feet. Josh will brutally spark him out in the rematch. His punches didn't have much sting on Saturday because he was weak even before the fight.

Ruiz might end up on a stretcher in the rematch but he'd have his snickers tho, lol.

Parker probably would've beaten Joshua if the handpicked ref had let them fight on the inside.

Joshua doesn't move his feet either btw, or his head.

-aj beats Miller, Whyte & usyk
-aj loses to D.Wilder, Fury & Ruiz.
-aj vs Kownacki would be interesting.

I will wait for the rematch i think. I dont care what people try to mock, Joshua did not look his normal self in there so i will see how the rematch goes down. I think he is a top of the division fighter but i dont see any current Heavyweight being able to class themselves as elite. All of them have got too many flaws. It is not an elite era for heavyweights.

Ive always said the top group of Heavyweights are well matched yet all bring completely different games. What makes this division red hot right now is the fact any of these guys can beat any of these guys. I cant say i foresaw Ruiz beating Josua to be honest but i can imagine AJ beating Wilder, Wilder beating Fury, Fury beating AJ, Wilder beating AJ, Fury beating Wilder.

Its a great division right now, its just that the division doesnt hold any greats.

He was never that good to begin with, it's not that surprising. He did the stanky leg vs. Whyte and 41 y/o Klitschko. He took the belts off Charles Martin, a 41 y/o and Parker (who should've lost to Ruiz).

Can someone tell me which current heavyweight is truly elite? I agree Joshua isn't elite, but he doesn't need to be in order to be the top guy in the division

boxing fans are some of the most fickle people on earth.

one loss and its always 'yeah hes overrated', 'i always thought hes not that good'.

lets wait and see. joshua has the ability to be the greatest hw of this era. lets wait and see. one loss doesnt write you off completely, despite what these floyd mayweather era fans seem to think. he can sill bounce back. thats how you achieve greatness. the jury is still out on him. BE PATIENT.
