I hope it doesn't end like Lewis Bowe I still want to see the fight. Wilders limited and so is Joshua but both can finish. AJ needs to win the rematch with Ruiz which is not a given at all.

Wilder will drop the Fury fight to fight Joshua now if he gets past an ageing Ortiz.

I'm not comparing careers, of course, because AJ hasn't had the chance to redeem himself yet. I am talking about their physical and mental attributes though. I think AJ very much modeled himself after Wlad. His whole image and personality is Wlad. Compare the Wlad against Corrie Sanders to the AJ of this past weekend. Who wins? Which champion looks more amateurish? Is it a double-KO?

The answer to this headline is WHO CARES!!!One fight never happened and other should have NEVER HAPPENED.Tyson was completely shot and Lewis's win means NOTHING.Im not saying Lewis would not have a had a decent shot of beating a prime Mike, but his win in 2000 means nothing.

Lol Noel. There is nothing wrong with nationalism as far as supporting a fighter with the same heritage. Italians, Irish, Poles, Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, etc. have always done it. I to an extent always rooted for Italian fighters although my " first" favorite fighter was "smokin Joe" Frazier. Always thought Ali was obnoxious although obviously an all time great. The issue that us "Wilderettes" if you want to call us that have was the constant barrage of criticism and I believe false claims of ducking always thrown Wilder's way. Is he a perfect fighter? Far from it. His boxing skills can look amateurish at times and he recklessly and carelessly goes in for the kill when he has a guy hurt. But that is also what makes him so exciting. As for his right hand? Thunder! I always enjoyed ripping Joshua and his fans. I always felt that he was too robotic with limited stamina and a suspect chin. One loss does not define a fighter. Although I felt that he was exposed it will be interesting to see if he can come back mentally. That is harder than the physical part.

Prime Tyson was probably 1988 when he was aged 21/22, any gains from experience after that point were cancelled out by his lifestyle choices - the 1988 Tyson would beat any version of himself after 1988.

The 21/22 year-old Tyson had skills, speed, power and ferocity that noone could match at the time, but at that time, he showed some weakness against taller fighters. If he had kept his head in the game, the real prime Tyson would likely have been 10 years later aged 32 and by then he would have worked taller fighters out. But we never got to see that.

So prime Lennox might have given prime Mike problems - but your right, the win in 2000 meant nothing.

If Joshua can't beat a chubby gatekeeper with him having a full camp compared to less than 3 weeks notice for Ruiz, there is no point of him fighting Wilder.

Probably Bowe Lewis. This fight isn't as big as Pac Mayweather where the demand was so great.

Joshua wasn't a household name in the US and Wilder isn't that big of a star either.

As it stood, the fight was Probably going to do 1M ppv buys max.

If it doesn't happen, I don't think anyone will lose any sleep

Watched a YouTube video where Teddy Atlas expressed his viewpoint as to why Joshua lost the way he did. According to Atlas and I think I agree, Joshua lost because: 1.) fighting away from his fan base effected him negatively 2) AJ is now a rich man and the desire and motivation he used to have is no longer there. The way AJ quit the fight lends credence to this. 3) In the rematch AJ will do better and may win but it will be a hard fight for him. AJ is no longer psychologically up to fighting Wilder. Ruiz hurt him and beat him up. Wilder would hurt him much more.

Lewis-Tyson, it will happen eventually after the expiration date. Wilder will play the role of Lewis, Joshua the glass jawed fraud will end up like Tyson.
