wow whats with all the hate on this thread? it seems you guys have forgotten how pacman was bullied by horn. ko'd by marquez and has not been the same since. if there vada testing, well see a slower pacquiao, the dude is 42, a legend but still an old man in a young mans game. i wish him the best but i doubt he gets past thurman, i wish the legend would retire but he has no quit in him. i for one dont enjoy watching old champs fight beyond their prime and pacman is still very good but way off his prime. i guess he has tax problems and also so many leeches around him so he has to continue his boxing career.

Yep Broner was 29 years old, and 10lb smaller, Keith is a full WW I think its going to mean a lot and I believe Thurman will be really up for it, Manny hasnt fought a full blown WW since Horn and it was many years before that fight he fought another natural WW that wasnt under weight conditions.

PAC knows he won’t be stronger than these big guys. He’s a natural featherweight, but speed kills. His power is not that noticeable at the higher weights. He knows as long as he keeps his speed and reflexes he has a chance to win. People keep saying he doesn’t knock people out anymore. This is because he’s fighting guys naturally bigger than him the last 10 years.

They’ve overplayed that “Manny could be fighting at 135 or 140” nonsense up for years. Manny was entering the ring in the mid 140s when he was fighting at 130. Him moving up from flyweight gets overblown too because he was fighting professionally as a teenager. If you compare Manny at age sixteen to someone like Floyd at sixteen. They were fighting at around the same weight. Yet Floyd is viewed as naturally much larger.

Floyd won the National GG as a light flyweight when he was sixteen. He won an Olympic bronze as a featherweight at nineteen. And won his first professional world title like a year later at 130. Very similar to the weights Manny was fighting at at the same ages.

Lomachencko won the jr world championship at like 17 as a flyweight. He won his first Olympic gold medal as a featherweight at like 19-20. Again, very similar to the weights Manny was fighting at at the same ages.
