Joshua is such a fool for turning down that $50M

What a ****** decision in hindsight. Joshua decided to go against what he asked for and now has paid the ultimate price. If AJ gets knocked out again by Ruiz (highly likely) it will most likely be the end of his career and that $50M rejection will be a wrong move he made.

AJ was ready for Wilder after the Parker fight, Wilder was ready after the Ortiz fight. It should have been made in Late 2018. But those ******s at DAZN had to come in and Hearn and DAZN managed to brainwash Joshua to turn it down and become their lapdog in America, in their so called “American Takeover”

DAZN will most likely ditch Joshua if he loses again, and as for Eddie Hearn, he’ll be gone looking for another fighter to milk from. Joshua didn’t listen to Uncle Al and this is what happens....

And for all the ******s who are spreading Eddie Hearn’s propaganda about that offer:

Eddie Hearn is an compulsive lier FULL STOP. and Joshua was a fool to listen to this guy’s advice, no wonder even Joshua’s dad can’t stand him...

Was a BS offer. Wilder never wanted the fight, his actions prove that.

Joshua is going to make more than 50 just from the two Ruiz fights.

How long is it going to take for Wilder to make 120 mil? I don't think he ever will. Fury is going to school the Alabama Coward again.

You think you know more about AJ's finances than him? He earns almost $50M for two fights regardless of who he fights. AJ has earned more in two fights than Wilder has earned in his entire 41 fight career.

Hindsight is 20/20, AJ and Hearn made the calculation that they could milk 3-4 fights before Wilder and bank 20-25 mill on each one, and then set up a 50 million fight with Wilder thereafter. Its a lesson on what happens when you marinate a fight too long and opt for lesser opponents, but also not a terrible strategy if AJ managed to win the set up fights.

With the 32 he got from DAZN and his sky money added to it he very likely hit 50 million in his loss to Ruiz. It was a good financial offer at the time from Wilder though, its just a shame that they couldnt back it up with any proof of terms and conditions. Nothing but a couple of sentences on Deontays personal email.

Its a specific group of posters that seem to get a joy out of speaking about money they will never touch. I have never really understood how boxing fans can get so caught up in the business side of boxing.

I have no gripes about a fighter getting paid a buku amount of cash but I do have a problem when it hinders the sport.

It's all spillover from the Floyd era--these are the same fans who followed his lead and suggest that a fighter's greatness is determined by only two things--a zero in the loss column and how much he has earned. Completely dismissing quality of opposition, risks taken, challenges that were overcome, etc.

What's just as bad are these same knuckleheads who cheer for or against certain promoters, a trend among casuals I still don't understand but yet another byproduct of the Floyd/Haymon influence. Why anyone would care if PBC, DAZN, Top Rank etc., earns more money is beyond me.
