Thurman is well known to gain a ton of weight between fights, which means that this quick turn over, from negotiation to deal to fight, will result in Thurmans camp being a "make weight camp", rather than a skill camp. Thurman will have to focus so much on weight that he will have far less time to hone his skill. Not to mention that although Thurman is a welterweight, and makes the weight easily, hes never had to cut weight so quickly, which means theres a chance he'd come in drained. Smart move by Pac and the team. Hopefully Thurman didn't put on too much weight this time around.

Another remarkable card PBC is giving boxing everything it wants.
No Roll’s and Schwarz’s against top fighters in this line up.
Anyone who has a problem with great matchups and so many on free tv... well you know why you do it and we do too.
If you are offended this is dedicated to you.

Ajagba v Demirezen
It's weird the article doesn't even mention Ajagba vs Demirezen.
It's the one fight from that event I'm looking forward to the most.
Two undefeated hard punchers who won all their fights by KO, except one each, both won by disqualification.
Demirezen bashed Joe Joyce's face in during an amateur fight too.
Joyce won, but his battered face was telling a different story.Last edited by The Algerian; 06-06-2019, 10:56 AM.
