  • Comments Thread For: Tszyu: I Think Pacquiao Will Hurt Thurman, Beat Him Convincingly

Hot rising prospect Tim Tszyu is very confident that Manny Pacquiao will do a job on World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight champion Keith Thurman. Pacquiao, who holds the WBA "regular" title, will face Thurman on July 20 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Let's hope Thurman is on a mission to try and KO Pacquiao so that this fight is an all-action PPV.
I don't see that happening,, Thurman always described himself as a smarter boxer so that means he'll be trying to avoid the Combos of Pacquiao all night

Interesting fight. Manny obviously has quite a few miles on the odometer but he can still beat most of the fighters in the division.

I could honestly see this going either way. I'm not so sure Thurman has his heart in the fight game anymore and I feel like his style can be hurt by inactivity. If he's on and in it both mentally and physically he should win. If he's not and can't time and pick off Pac when he's dartinf in and out, he will lose.

Thurman will be boxing and moving most of night. He is stressing his lateral movement in all conversations. Will talk ko and beating up retiring manny but one wave of crazy angle attack and getting buzzed there goes feet

I got that same feeling the 1st time I heard Keith say "lateral movement". I think we're gonna get Pac Broner 2.0 with Thurman throwing just slightly more. He's not coming to beat
up pac, hes hoping he can do just enough to outpoint him

I agree, Thurman is to timid and goes backwards to much and really has no solid defense at all. Manny will push him back and make him submit
