HW ranking isn't something you earn through time, it's something you earn through accomplishment. He beat the best in the division. The only wins Fury has in 4 years are people who were unknown. Club fighters.
Again, people want to turn this into an eye test.

Ruiz a nobody and he beat Joseph Parker that is a top-10
      first im Cuban.

but to boxing, had miller not fail the test ruiz would still be a nobody outside the top ten. and CONGRATULATIONS to Ruiz. he won fair and square. but Joshua was never great, so it doesnt move ruiz in my book because ruiz would lose to the other top 10ers. AJ moves to the back because he is just as good as the other top 10ers. i would say the same thing about wilder. except he is even worse than AJ. tyson is the only one that beats everyone on skill alone. weak division. my opinion of course

I don't agree with that it's doing disservice to guys that been in or around of the top 3 for years for unranked fighter takes over their position because of 1 fight

Fury was the ring champion and he is still undefeated

It's the same, there are a lot of stup.id cubana haters

Ruiz did what stu pido Ortiz and Solís never did.

Following your own logic, Ortiz is not on the top-20.

Ruiz deserved the win against Parker and K.O'd Joshua.

Ruiz had the talent to be champion, sooner or later.

And you are talking about sh.it, there are facts and Ruiz destroyed one of the best in heavyweight and Made history , period.

That's wrong. They had AJ number one before the fight and Ruiz KOed him so he should be number 1. When you easily beat number 1 then you are number one. They gave Fury the number 1 spot when he did nothing. Boxrec has Ruiz number 1 as he should be right now. Anyway Ruiz has almost all the belts while Fury has none and Wilder only one.

Fury is the best. He’s lineal, he has the best win (Klitschko) and he schooled Wilder despite having come off of a layoff and huge weight loss. He’d also be heavily favored over the #2 which is Ruiz for now. Ruiz has a better resume and skill level than Wilder and of course he beat Joshua so he’s a fair and clear top two. I just don’t think he’d have a chance with Fury who’s all wrong for him.

                    Ruiz did not beat Parker.

Ruiz beating Joshua, does not re-write history prior.

I agree. It doesn't matter where he was ranked before the fight. He beat the guy generally recognized as the number 1 heavyweight so that should earn him the number 1 ranking just as it earned him the world titles AJ had. If Fury and Wilder are better they must now prove it. They were offered huge money to fight AJ and declined. Ruiz fought him for maybe a tenth as much and got the win so he should get the glory and the credit and ring Should go by results not what the think might happen. They obviously rated AJ the best in the world because they had him number 1 over Fury and Wilder. Ruiz beat AJ decisively so he should get their number 1 spot until he loses a fight.
