AJ, it seems, didn't have a proper camp and will be all the more dangerous in the rematch if he does.

The biggest difference is, Ruiz can take AJ's shots better than AJ can take Ruiz ones.

Dunno how you counter that without a ref in your corner to protect you.
Excuses Joshua was already in camp preparing for Miller he just underestimated Andy they both had equal amount of time to prepare for each other as far as strategy is concerned.

Ps Carnera vs Baer was a similar fight. AJ would have gone down other 10 times, had the fight not been stopped.

Yeah, I know right. Vit only loses came from a cut and I believe a shoulder injury.

Going to be interested to see what weight Ruiz comes in at for the rematch - while he can clearly operate with the extra around the middle, he can only improve if carrying a bit less excess baggage, and it sounds like this will be the first time he will be able to afford something like a conditioning coach and/or dietitian - but would the dietitian stop the snickers bars ?

Ruiz has said he'll work on his fitness for the rematch and joked he'll look like Joshua - doubt it, but given he weighed in for Joshua at 267lbs, and has been as high as 321lbs, rematch weight will be interesting.

No Ruiz did not. He was a step in for cheating Miller and absolute wasn't in proper fight shape. He will in the rematch and will beat Joshy down again guarantee.

Ruiz had a full camp, fought and won, took two days off, and then he was back in the gym for another five weeks for the match against AJ. So yes, he was in the best shape of his life. He even went a few pounds up from his fight in late April, because they thought he needed more weight against a man like AJ.

For those who have not seen AR train, have a look at his instagram. There are for example videos from February, when he is training with a fysio for the April match. Another session shows him box and doing hydrobics in the swimming pool.

So, he had been training well and continuously at least since February for the match 1 June.

Joshua was dropped during spar and did not recover from concussion the reason why his dad was very upset with Hearn and tried to stop the fight before it started.
