Can Wilder stop Luis Ortiz earlier this time?

What do you think? Can Wilder actually make adjustments from the first encounter and stop Ortiz much earlier and quicker, much like against Stiverne? I think Wilder stopping Ortiz again in emphatic fashion will solidify his status as THE top dog in HW IMO.

Unless of course Ortiz somehow manages to pull a Ruiz Jr. That would be an interesting outcome.

      I think so

Ortiz has looked garbage for a while now. He’s too old to move through the gears.

He can but he doesnt want to be an idiot about it. He doesnt need to prove anything by doing it quicker than he did last time he needs to act cool and take his chances when they come. Ortiz nearly had him out of there last time, after he had had Ortiz down too. Gotta be careful when you have a man hurt.

Case in point, AJ-Ruiz 3rd round.

Ortiz will still be dangerous early. I'd wager Wilder pumps the jab and occasional right hand until Ortiz fades. Then again he may jump on him, which has it's risks. One flush counter from Ortiz and it could be over. Ortiz is probably past it by now though. I've always liked him but he should have started earlier.

Going off Ortiz recent performances, I fully expect a WBC champion to KO Ortiz in under 4rds.

I see 3 scenarios of this fight:

                  1. Wilder stops Ortiz in first or second round
                  2. Ortiz stops Wilder in first 7 rounds, probably in round 5-6
                  3. Wilder stops Ortiz lately in 10-12 round

Probably. Wilder is gonna start declining shortly, but Ortiz is already 40.
