Joshua is a talker in the ring. Who knows what they had been saying to each other. He was talking alot to wlad when he was in serious trouble.

I'm watching the 4th round again and there was a point where Ruiz put his hands down and Josh took a deep breath and they both smiled and winked at each other.

What was going on there? The more I watch this fight, the more bizarre it gets. Someone is trying to knock your head off and you're smiling and winking at each other.

I dunno but everything about the fight just seem right. His face looking all bruised the whole week. Came out without warming up looking tired like he just had marathon sex. Then he started fighting with his left arm down and pawing, he never starts a fight like that. His jab might no be as stiff as Lennox’s but he has always had a fairly good jab and he didn’t even use it in that fight.

Also, for a guy who throws a lot of uppercut in all his previous fights, he only did it once in that fight. They say never hook with a hooker and that’s something every amateur boxer knows. But he knows he’s fighting a hooker but kept hooking with him till the end.

I think it was done for DAZN and for Hearn because Hearn hasn’t met his quota. Most of his shows have flopped and they were counting on Josh vs Miller and later Josh vs Wilder and both flopped. So they had to look for something by hook or by crook. Josh beating Ruiz and Pulev next won’t do anything for DAZN and Hearn’s status with the company. And they had to create their own Rocky story with a sequel that will be the most anticipated thing for the rest of the year.
