AJ needs the ref to give him a time out if he gets in trouble like how the ref gave Wilder a time out after getting rocked by Ortiz.
Why should the rematch be held in the UK?

If Ruiz has signed a contract that states a rematch would be in the UK then that would be the reason that the fight should be held in the UK. If the contract did not state a venue then Ruiz should fight to hold it where ever he wants to hold it or look to see where it makes the most money.
I did hear that the rematch clause in the contract did hold a time frame and venue but not through any official source so its only rumour.Comment

He did better than everyone expected no question. But he left a lot of that fight on the table. He could’ve really took it to Wilder but he didn’t.Comment

Because you make more money when you put it in a richer venue like Vegas...where you have literal millionaires and billionaires attend your fights. So you'll have less people there live but end up with more money.
Not to mention comparing the price of ppv buys. 24-30 something a pop versus 70-100Comment

Randomly do we know the gate for this fight vs the gate for previous UK fights?
Be interesting to see what AJ has been doing vs what he did in the US debut. Whatever he did in his debut its a super solid bet his 2nd US fight does better gate numbers vs Ruiz again with all the attention this first fight ended up getting.
I tend to think DAZN will try to use to control on getting the fight in the US & I tend to think Joshua will ultimately lean towards the US if he wants a long term DAZN deal in the aftermath of the rematch (assuming he wins). If he doesn't want a DAZN deal & is looking to get back with Showtime or maybe ESPN in the US he'll fight in the UK. Or Joshua will have to insure to DAZN he wishes to make some big moves into the US post-rematch if he does take it in the UK.Comment

But they aren't doing that either are they? It's all half full basketball arenas and mediocre viewership/PPV buys unless there's a Mexican involved.Because you make more money when you put it in a richer venue like Vegas...where you have literal millionaires and billionaires attend your fights. So if it's so easy to do what the Brits do, why not do it and build up to the Vegas scenario you describe?Comment
